I am a keyboardist, saxophonist, flautist, MIDI sound designer, digital audio specialist, Macintosh programmer and keyboard technician who has been on the production staff for many major recording and performing artists. I specialize in MOTU Digital Performer and Digidesign ProTools systems.

One of the highlights of my life was playing on stage with U2 for the very first time. It was a concert in Amsterdam, July 16, 2005 (thanks to U2 fan Evert Neirinckx for help with the date). Here is a shot on stage with the Edge, playing the vintage Yamaha CP-80 Electric Grand Piano.

The new album, No Line On The Horizon, is now in stores. Here is a shot (from the BBC website) capturing the band debuting songs from the new album on the Jo Whiley program (BBC).

This photo (from the BBC website), is a shot of the streets of London below the band, doing a balcony mini-concert at the BBC building.

A new interview in the can be found here. Story by Julian J. Ramos.

Please, please don't steal music. You can justify it to yourself any number of ways, but the bottom line is that the artists and the writers don't get paid when you steal their music. Maybe the record companies have grown into large conglomerates that have removed themselves from the artisic side, but if they are gone, distribution changes and the business changes. Help our songwriters before they decide that it just isn't worth writing great music anymore. Don't steal. There are great alternatives to normal CD distribution methods. Check out eMusic. They have the most eclectic (particularly back catalog jazz) library of great music on the web. It works out to about 30 cents a song. Don't steal.

Some of you may not recognize me at the moment. I just cut and donated 16 inches of my hair to Locks of Love. This organization, working alongside the American Cancer Society, provides human hair wigs for those who have lost their hair to the effects of long term medical conditions. Children, especially, are subject to embarrassment and ridicule when they lose their hair. Locks of Love addresses this problem at a time when self-esteem is low and morale needs a boost. They often provide wigs free of charge to children who need and don't have the financial means. Locks of Love will always have my support.
